Diamond has a four year old son and she has to deal drugs and work in a bar to support her small family, getting mixed up in a world of danger and menace. But when Carlos, the father of her son, who has been in jail, is released and wants custody, her life is turned upside down. Denny, the lawyer who helped get Carlos out of prison and is in love with Diamond, gets killed by a car bomb and then her son goes missing.
