This album contains the song 'It doesn't matter' which featured on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series - this is the reason I purchased it. After a few listens I still feel that this is the stand-out track. It probably isn't worth buying the entire album solely for this track, though I did find it an interesting listen (being as I am new to this band and to bluegrass in general). It was amazing to find out that Alison Krauss was involved with lead and backing vocals, as well as the fiddle and viola. Seeing as this album was released in 1997, I am intrigued to explore what else she has recorded since.

I had an old musicassette of this album. I decided to buy the CD and turned to EBay. It's simply bluegrass at it's best with the wonderful harmonius vocals of Alison Krauss giving meaning to most of the songs within. The two tracks that I would play over and over again would be Deeper than Crying and Find my way back to my heart, both being the type of song that causes the listener to dream. The remainder of the album is a mixture of ballad and classic bluegrass tunes. You don't have to like the Country style to appreciate the musicianship, and lyric writing on this album. I bought this album, which was in perfect condition for the miserly sum of £6. A sum of money that pales into insignificance when one assesses the pleasure that it has brought to my listening hours. A long review is unnecessary here, the album speaks for itself, pure class!!!Read full review
