Reviews"...Universally praised since its first release in 1958....To even hint at criticism of the playing would be childish....An album I'll never tire of hearing...", 4 Stars (Out of 5) -"...One of Jazz's 'perfect' Albums...", "...A champ quintet with proper balance of space and power. Blissful cool bop grooves....Among the candidates for `greatest Miles Davis record'....Separation and presence on this remastered disc are nothing short of extraordinary..", 5 stars out of 5 -- "The affable altoist and Florida-born former music teacher had cut a one-off album with Miles sitting in as a sideman in 1958 called SOMETHIN' ELSE.", "...A champ quintet with proper balance of space and power. Blissful cool bop grooves....Among the candidates for 'greatest Miles Davis record'..."
Its quite simple, if you like Jazz or even if you think you don't but can appreciate great music, then you must own this album. I recommend getting it on Vinyl but CD will suffice if you don't own a record player, however to really appreciate it you should listen to it on a good sound system in a good acoustic environment, I guarantee you wont be disappointed.
