brilliant album of the early Cure.

Includes 2 singles not included in UK release, but the few tracks replaced were not the worst on album, so you need 3 Imaginary Boys too.

I love this album, released in 1980 I believe, by Bob, Lol and Micheal Dempsey, its a compilation that includes classics like Fire In Cairo, Jumping Someone Elses Train, Three Imaginary Boys etc, there isn't a track on there that I can honestly say I dislike!!! Listen out for the scream?!?
Really chuffed I found this on CD...I have the original vinyl ( slighty worn now!)from my youth back in the eighties. I can now torment my teenage kids with more of my apparently 'wierd stuff' in the car. Other than 'Faith' it is among my fave albums in my collection. Highly recommended for those of us with great memories of that era (have been dancing around the lounge and singing along to the tracks with the volume full blast since it arrived!!!) and equally for those under 25 who are interested in revivals of original punk/indie type bands of that time. A friend of my Daughter's was very excited by the tracks on the album when I first played him the vinyl! If you are into your indie in 'todays' market you can pick out a few hooks and riffs in their music stolen from The Cure. What else can I say? Thrilled to bits...Read full review
