What can I say about one of my all time favourite singers that hasn't already been said? This album showcases him at his very best and covers some four decades. I have many of these songs on vinyl so it is good to have a copy of them now which does not bear the scars of being played thousands of times over many years. All his greatest hits, and more, are here highlighting his melifluous tones. He used, before performances, to drink warm honey and it showed in his voice, too! It has been said, rightly, that Perry Como was so laid back he was horizontal, but it took hard work - and a prodigious talent - to make it look that way. I came across Perry Como in the mid fifties. His TV shows were a must see at the time. His popularity, as with so many solo artists, waned in the sixties when the Liverpool Sound ruled the World but, unlike many others, Perry made a comeback in the seventies – and how! There has never been a biography of Perry Como written nor, I believe, will there ever be. They say it is because he was never the subject of any gossip either in his professional or his personal life. Besides, who needs the written word when you can listen to his music? This album IS Perry Como's biography.Read full review

Almost every song that I remember was on this compilation CD. Good to sing song too and chill out driving to work.
