I've been a fan of Groove Armada for sometime but i think it was this album that really kinda set it off. i mean there are so many good tunes to choose from the opening track 'chicago' has an infectious beat and just makes you want to keep listening to more of the album, 'if everybody looked the same' & 'i see you baby' are the most easily recognisable tracks and probably worthy of being called classics but 'at the river' is the stand out track and is total bliss to listen to. closing track 'blue skies' is a great way to end things and features vocals by sophie barker who is worth a listen to in her own right havin done some solo work as well as collaberating with the equally cool zero 7. I think you would find it hard not to like this album and it is definitely worth making room for in your cd collection.Read full review
Excellent album, i loved this when i bought it in 1999 and i'm still loving it, great summer album, enjoy long into the warm sunny evenings!!
EASY LISTENING ALL THE WAY, LOVE JUST DRIVING WITH THIS ON. AN EARLY ALBUM THAT I MISSED FIRST TIME ROUND BUT GLAD I'VE GOT IT NOW AND AT A GREAT PRICE AND IN MINT CONDITION. JUST TURN IT UP AND FORGET ABOUT WHAT'S GONIG ON OUTSIDE!!
This is an all round wicked album, perhaps the only fault is a couple of tracks that are not up to the usual groove armada standard, but those few tracks are made up for by some classic numbers, so if you're after groove armada then this is definately the album to own.
