Wire On Returning CD Review
An experimental purchase on my part. An interesting listen. Wire have clearly been very influential. On first listen, I could hear Gang Of Four, Elastica & Howard Devoto in there. The first half of the CD is the stronger musically for me - with the latter half sounding more experimental. It's definitely not commercial in any way. That said, it's an interesting listen for a fiver. You've got to respect the band's creativity and the labels,who, back in the day had the guts to release this style of more 'awkward' music.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
