Magica is DIO returning to its classic sound and consistent heavy songwriting and dark lyrics as were Holy Diver and The Last In Line. This is also the band's first concept album. Hear evil sounding songs with heavy, sludg-y riffs and fun metal lyrics on Lord Of The Last Day. Another standout on As Long As It's Not About Love opens with acoustic guitar and builds with bluesy lyrics with two astonishing guitar solos. Fever Dreams is a great uptempo rocker that possesses a mind-numbingly lead. The consistency keeps on going song after song with killer riffs, excellent leads and melodies, pounding drums and divine vocals throughout this magnificent release.
