just occasionally you stumble across an album that may be old, but you havent heard it, yet once heard it must be sought and added to your collection, this definately one of those albums. a couple of 'loudish' tracks, but mainly 'softer' rock with excellent usage of acoustic style, 'cant find the time to tell you' (hootie and the blowfish), 'the world aint slowin down' (ellis paul), 'strange condition' (pete yorn) are classics in their own right. i first heard this soundtrack the other day when the film was on tv (never seen it before), 2 things struck me, firstly renee zellweger of course, secondly the soundtrack, maybe the soundtrack did well when it was released, i dont know, but im glad i've got it.
Why haven't more people bought this album? It is brilliant! OK we have heard some of the tracks before but they are well done and a lot of the tracks are original and different, it is very easy to listen to, especially in the car, I love it!
I loved the film anyway so I had always wanted the soundtrack. It doesn't have all the songs and music from the film on it but it is still very good and entertaining!
