Content is terrible. For being a scottish programme it has very little scottish content and is therefore a total waste of time. The music on the TV programme is excellent this is definitely not and I would never recommend it to anyone.

If you're a Monarch of the Glen fan, this is a great selection of music that will remind you of various episodes from the series. Some of the tracks are short, but the Scottish aires and reels are great.
This CD, originally released in 2002 is now becoming increasingly rare. Featuring 36 tracks composed by Simon Brint, it forms the soundtrack to the popular BBC series - Monarch of The Glen. It really sums up the 'Sound Of Scotland' when you listen to it - highly recommended. I don't know why the BBC never re-released it as it is so popular but because of this, it is only available through eBay and Amazon every so often and sells in excess of £50. If you can get your hands on it - its well worth it!
I just discovered this series in 2007 and have been watching it and find the music is the best part of the series. I am willing to pay a good price for this cd and I am a bargin hunter. This is the first CD I am willing to pay over $100 for. Great Scot Music... 36 tracks
The music is just outstanding, it makes you think you are out in the wilds of Scotland. I bought it because I've heard tracks from it and wanted to hear the rest. I was not disappointed, stunning. The TV programme was really good and this reminds you of that.
