How could they possibly better the original release? But they have!
This is a great set, I have the original album on vinyl, the sound was superb being an early use of digital recording, however, this has been greatly enhanced on this remastered CD, particularly through headphones (as the original album was recommeded). The extras are also to the same quality on the rest of disc 1. Discs 2 and 3 are live but again are of a high quality reproduction, Not quite sure why they're spread over two discs though as they would probably have just about squeezed on to one but perhaps not! Anyway, like all of the Hawkwind rereleased in this series the price is a little higher when compared with similar re-releases from other bands from the same period, but certainly in this case it is worth paying that little bit extra!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Brilliant sound quality, the remastered original album and all the relevant B-sides and E.P. releases on disc 1. Then 2 discs of the a live performance with one album drummer Ginger Baker. Sounds fantastic, quality discs, both the album, bonus tracks and live concert are excellent, all in a clamshell card box and covers with a set of postcards of the original promo pictures of this release. This was the last Hawkwind album I bought as they were released - purchased this recently and although the sound quality is excellent I am reminded of my feelings at the time.
