Reviews"...Infinite Sadness, Hypnotic Beauty..."-Rating: B+, "...Vega's trademark wistful vocals and poetically cerebral lyrics emerge with more poignancy and introspection on this album...", "...The Album Could Be Her Finest...", 3 Stars Out of 5-"...Crisply Charming..."
I remember hearing Suzanne Vega back in the mid to late 80s and enjoying her first two albums. Her third album didn't have the poetic ethos of those two and her fourth left me cold. Its only after reading about her new (2025) album that I suddenly wondered about the intervening 30 years of material. This album is classic Vega and better than 99.9F in every way. I look forward to relistening to it and to listening to her other albums.
