The last Fish fronted album and arguably the best of the 4 ? Well that's for another debate but it is without doubt rated a classic by the music world and the fans (who know the band albums better than anyone). Another concept album which Marillion did so well and the tracks have always totally resonated with me from start to finish. There's nothing weak on here and the lyrics are as close to heartfelt cries as you will find anywhere with the poetry of Fish woven into them so succinctly. Anyone who appreciates early Genesis or even Floyd will truly love this album. It was a real high for Fish to sadly then bow out on.

This album is a recent discovery for me & because no longer available new, I had to look for a "previously enjoyed" version. Couldn't believe how cheap is was so expected something that was going to be no more than OK. It arrived quickly, in a quality jiffy bag, and looked unmarked when opened. No scratches on the cover, no flaws in the sleeve & the no marks on the CD. It plays perfectly so this has been an outstanding purchase.

This cd was bought for my girlfriend as she is a fan. Im not too keen on Marillion but this cd is pretty good for them!!! Its well produced and the bass sound is pretty good but theres too much keyboards for my taste. All and all pretty good my girlfriend loves this cd, she thinks its good.
PROGRESSIVE ROCK, THE BAND CERTAINLY PROGRESSED, YOU CAN TELL FROM FUGAZI, SCRIPT TO A JESTERS AND THEN THE SEEMLESS ENDLESS TRACK OF MISPLACED CHILDHOOD. THIS ALBUM FOLLOWS IN THE SAME MOULD, BUT YOU CAN SENSE THAT THIS WAS FISHES LAST STAND, NOT AS STRONG AS THE PREVIOUS ALBUMS BUT STILL GOOD. FOR ME THIS IS THE LAST MARILLION ALBUM,FISH WAS MARILLION - MARILLION WAS FISH
