I've been working my way through the John Renbourne anthology, and this led me to re visit Sandy Denny and Pentangle. All have stood the test of time very well. This is a really good album, and Jackie McShee's voice is still angelic.

This is a DVD-Audio I bought in spite of the reviews, not because of them. On all the surround websites, and even the ordinary audio review sites, this album was absolutely panned. To be honest, I cannot argue with their assessments, and I'm glad I picked it up cheap. The 5.1 mix is, in a word, a mess. Instrumentation is often unclear, the channels sound indistinct, and the imaging is poor. This is because Silverline don't give the mixing work to experts in the field, and as a result only one or two have come off for them. However, if you have a decent multiformat player, it 'may' do something with the disc that renders it quite listenable - in stereo. Get your DVD player to downmix, and if does a good job of that process, bobs your uncle. If not, avoid.

excellent folf pop ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************** really enjoyable cd
Is this one of the best folk/rock albums of all time?Well its got to be in the top 10 any way.Not one but two virtuoso guitarists and the best acoustic bass player ever in Danny Thompson.Every track is a winner and is classic Pentangle. This edition has the bonus tracks and the audio is top notch, absolutely nothing to dislike about this album,Jacqui McShee's beautiful vocals are the icing on a very nice cake!
