Advertised as 50 hr candles. The most. The most I managed to get was around 8 hours, this was because the wick is not in the centre of the candle and when burning they end up with a Chanel down one side which allows the wax to run down into the dish. I an still trying to get rid of the filthy black soot that they throw out all the time. I purchased 8 of these and only used three. The rest are just waiting for me to make up my mind what I am going to do with them.

I am very unimpressed by these candles and would have complained had they not been purchased at reduced price. Thus far of the 5 I have used each has proved to have a problem with the wick whereby it burns to the side instead of centrally resulting in a burn of only about one third to one half the candles. Evidently a production fault. Very unhappy,

Have tried to use two of these but each time, after burning for about 3 hours, the wick got covered by the wax and the candle went out. On scraping the wax to try to light the candle I found that there was no wick. It did not run through the length of the candle. This was the case of both of them. Very disappointed.

Don't look like the photo. I think the candles are made from lard as they burn appallingly and collapse. Pillar candles should not collapse part way through burning. Won't be buying again
