Superb record
The best LP foreigner ever made , every track hits the musical spot from , the hard rocking opener Nightlife , the country rock of Luanne , through to lovely pop Ballard's like Girl on the moon , and the sublime beauty of Waiting for a girl like you , love the slide guitar arrangements on this track. They somewhat faded after this recording , but nevermind , this LP still sounds fresh today , as it did in 1981 when it was originally released

I had no idea Foreigner was this good, I only bought it for "I want to go where love is." Only it is not on this cd, it really doesn't matter as I enjoyed all of it,

После альбома 1979 года стало ясно.что два музыканта в группе лишние. Ян Макдональд,конечно,прекрасный музыкант,но его всё больше тянуло к продъюсированию, нежели к игре на инструментах. Оставшись вчетвером, "Форинер" сделал прекрасный альбом.В нём есть всё. Слушается он на одном дыхании.
