Label – Soul Brother (2001) Catalogue #CDSBPJ7 Format – CD Album Condition – New & Sealed - Release Information Flying Dutchman, the brainchild of the famous writer/producer Bob Thiele, was one of the most innovative jazz labels to emerge in the late sixties/early seventies. The roster was wide and varied, but had a common theme: quality. The music had an edge to it that was complemented by the well-designed gatefold sleeves with comprehensive notes. The label ran from 1969 to 1976 after which some of the artists were transferred to RCA, who had been distributing the label.
