This is very disappointing. The copy of this CD that I have been sent seems to me to be a fake. The inserts (booklet etc) are just bits of card. The pictures on these front and back cards are obviously photocopies and are blurred and of poor quality. The CD itself looks to be a “burn-it-yourself”/recordable disk and the picture on the front of the CD itself is a sticky label. Not as advertised.

Supertramp went straight into the 80's after Hodgsons departure and even in 1997's "Some Things Never Change" album (aptly titled) there was just the feeling Rick Davies was wishing he still lived in the good ol' 80's and while the songs were good, felt like a desperate hold on to what he knew. Slow Motion is a move towards modernism, in as much that he's gone back towards a more bluesy sound and left the ballads behind. It's the only Supertramp album to have been released in the 21st century and while it's still longing for the old days is definitely quality all the way through for any Rick Davies fan.
