I don't rate this as a future classic, but it's definitely a pretty good debut album. Well worth grabbing and enjoying, especially at eBay used prices.

I do like The Yeah Yeah yeahs, but never got around to buying 'Fever To Tell'. Don't ask me why because I personally don't know! :p Pfft, I didn't know what I was missing! It is a brilliant album; chockful of old-school punk riffs and beats that definitely get you dancing! Karen O is the epotime of the NY punk with an 'I don't care' sound to her voice, which suits the music quite well. :) Stand out tracks: 'Black Tongue', 'Yeah! New York', 'Man' Anyone who is into lo-fi punk retro rock, buy this album NOW.
A very good album. I can't quite fathom why, when I first heard it, I didn't like it. The album has so much raw energy, no small thanks to the vocalist Karen O, who manages to project pure energy and punky danger into her voice. Sample the track "tick" to get an idea... okay the vocals aren't particularly deep, but this isn't music for contemplation, its music to mosh to! 'Maps' tones it down a little without making the album sag, indeed it is one of the best tracks. A great album!
