Top class chomper
Easy fit but you may need a bigger guard/shield on the strimmer head as it's quite big. It will chomp everything and once upto speed with cut and easy path through overgrown gardens. A sweeping side to side action just above the ground at a slight angle clears all and you wonder where all that knee deep jungle has gone as you are left with a clear swathe. It will munch the top 2cm of soil as well as you go with no apparent effect unless you hit a rock. I cleared two allotment sections of knee high weeds and grass on one go today in half an hour with one refill. Light touch is best.

Two bladed shredder is a better tool.
Disappointed with this item's cutting ability. I have the 2 blade shredder, this is far far much more superior and easier to use. I assumed that having the three blades it would be of a similar cut, but since the blade tips are at an angle, the efficiency of shredding is given up by the ability to cut horizontally. Fitted my two blade back on and off I go. I have a 2m high bramble patch which needs my attention.

Works well on brambles and Manx gorse.
Works well and does a better job on Manx gorse than my other blades. Shreds and mulches the gorse beautifully. Only problem is that the spacer washer, 25.4mm > 20mm, occasionally pops out and blade then becomes slightly off center and then causes vibration. I then immediately stop , remove blade,replace spacer washer etc and carry on!

This is a Beast!
I live on on a 20 acre Scotish estate and a river runs right through. The banks are covered both sides with brambles and braken. I started with an off the shelf basic 3 star cutter that works but with the amount and distance to cut it would of grown back by the time I would reach the end. Researched and purchased 'the beast'. This cutter is beyond fantastic. It cuts through, mulches and cut my time and effort by miles. It's strong also (I got the 3mm think version) cause I hit a few hidden rocks during the process and it didn't bend like my previous cutter. Only small problem is that it is heavy, but the quality and speed outways. Get one..you'll not regret it.
