Good press with a few flaws.
Very well built. Does a good job of removing piston pins. Right size ram for it. After assembly I noticed a lot of slop in the bar that pushes. I added a flat washer to the top and bottom hole and welded them in place. That cured the problem. I also removed the paint from supplied bars. They slide to easily. Other than that it works excellent. Be sure to tighten the bolts after you set your height with the pins. I also bought a piece of 3/8" thick steel plate to lay on the 2 c-channels. Cut a one inch hole to line up with ram bar. For the price, its great. I could not build one for the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lax quality but inexpensive. Took three times to receive w/o damage. Mods needed for accuracy.
Inexpensive addition to home/shade tree mechanic shop. Fair quality and features over similar HF press, like the guide for the push rod. But I found that guide requires crafting or finding plastic collars for the holes where the rod goes through to make it more accurate. The holes are 1/8"+ larger than the rod, so way too much play. Welding throughout is definitely sub-par, but its probably made by small, underfed children in China..... Can't beat the price though, especially when fleabay does extra 15% off...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Few concerns
Well for the price, it's worth it. Not black color. Base slightly moves because of gap, pins don't lock in place, plates just sit there with no locking mechanism and Jack just sits freely. Not major issues, but all could be dangerous if not careful.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It works for most things
It is a lot smaller than it looks in the advertisement and is fairly cheaply made. It works good for small jobs but 6 tons of force is all its good for. I don't believe the framework would stand up to much more than that.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
