Greenwood calamine lotion
Word of warning; it's thin and watery, unlike the old fashioned chemist versions that solidified in the bottle and needed shaking hard before use. Due to that wateriness, it doesn't dry quickly on the skin, which was part of the soothing and satisfying quality of its forebear. However, it's cheap and it does the job it's designed to do. Personally I'm not going to buy another bottle of it because of its thinness, but I'll finish this bottle before starting the proper version of it. Soothing Stuff!
In my opinion this Greenwood calamine lotion is the best there is out there at the moment - only because the original is currently unobtainable. But this is a pretty good second best mainly because unlike oils and creams, this will cool the skin, therefore soothing that awful itch you get with insect bites.
