Ratchet mechanism is fine but the die is of extremely poor quality
Went with Sealey as I’ve purchased a lot of tools made by them before and never had an issue. Unfortunately these are let down by the most important part. The die is cast and not machined, it is so poorly formed that it just crushes then crimps instead of wrapping them around the wire making it unsuitable for non insulated automotive crimps.
