Did the job, room for improvement
They did the job, much longer than the old school spring compressors I have, Used on Zafira A front springs to replace both sides. The hooked clamps ensure the clamp remains on the spring although they didn’t sit comfortably on my springs, almost as if they were for a larger diameter spring ( one hook located the other nearly did but not quite I might be able to grind the corners for a better fit. One clamp slides free on the thread, the other is attached, takes much longer to compress and release than the old style clamps with opposing threads. Did the job well but with a little more thought in design and evaluation could have been a fantastic product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

If ordering for use on a car or suv get the shorter ones these are for really long 4x4 springs gap between jaws is to big even when fully tightened up. No good for my x-trail.
