Would be even better with a bolt fitted to the centre hole
The windscreen wiper arm puller is good quality, but it has one fault . The adjuster centre shaft has a hole in the centre, which when tighten slips due to the pressure being applied to the outer rim. To overcome this problem I fiitted a bolt to the centre hole and thereafter had no further problems, such a simple cure, making this puller perfect.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Strong and well designed puller
This puller is strong and small enough to squeeze into tight spaces and centralise. Hex bolt means high torque can be exerted to remove seized on wipers. Not sure why the bolt is hollow, could be improved with solid one or have a removable insert in the end.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very useful puller with a small disadvantage.
Adjustable arms are a good facility. Worked well where other pullers could not. Good value. Sturdy. However centre post , where all the force goes is hollow resulting in a sharp edge to the post (or strong tube really) . this can dig in to what you are pushing against. . So if you can place something under the centre post, eg. 1p coin to protect the surface i would suggest you do so. Tbf marking only occurred on first use and not on second wiper so i may have been a bit fierce. But worth bearing in mind.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Needs modifying to work
As others have said - the central bolt is hollow do this means it sits over the thread of the wiper and effectively jams it so you can’t pull the wiper arm off - so you either put a bolt in the centre or find a bar like I did and use that - a bit fiddly with an extra loose part but the pulled is good quality, just needs a design tweak to make it actually workVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sturdy and effective
Quite often wiper arms are almost 'welded' to the tapered , as a combination of the taper, nut tightness and good old 'time'. Levering from a body panel is a "no-no" and it then comes down to how well the 'lifter' is made. Those with a moulded steel construction may look OK but can simply bend when the pressure is applied. Not with this device. Clamp it on, tighten the nut and away the wiper arm comes. Perfect!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Money well spent
Having tried to get wiper arms off van without success I went in search of a puller. Most looked flimsy. This puller appeared to be substantial.
