Great design. Worthwhile performance.
A watched pot never boils. Ha...That will teach you to be a pot! But, a glass kettle with blue ring underlighting (like a custom car) is oddly worth watching, and the water WILL boil :-) . I'm really glad I chose this over a dispenser-type water heating appliance. Using filtered water (to reduce limescale a bit) at room temperature, means it has reliably reached a fast boil (there is a science aspect to this effect) in 45 to 50 seconds for the helpfully-indicated 1-Cup amount. 3KW is usefully potent. Auto switch-off is after 10 to 15 seconds of boiling, but time - and money - can be saved by manually switching off. Excellent kettle. I like it so much, it will probably be discontinued :-(

I purchase this item on the 23rd July 2017 and really liked the design and fast boil but unfortunately on the 27th August 2017 it went with a loud bang blew the plug fuse and tripped out my electric meter.. Having read some of the reviews from others who have purchased this product and it seem's I'm not the only one this has happened to.

Great kettle
We bought one of these kettles 2 years ago and have been very happy with it: it looks good, is comfortable to use and easy to fill and clean. It is a bit noisy but otherwise we have no complaints and when it stopped working recently, which was rather disappointing (hence only 4 stars), we had no hesitation to order another the same.

Fast and good looking
Boils water really fast and isn't too noisy. Looks lovely with the blue lights. We have very hard water but use a Brita filter jug and the kettle doesn't seem to scale up but I do swill a little bit of vinegar around in it every so often just to keep it clean and shiny.

I am very impressed with this kettle. It is so easy to see how much water you are boiling and when it has completely stopped boiling. Thus you know when it is safer to tilt the water away from the element when pouring. Noise is not exactly quiet but about middle range and just acceptable. Much easier to save electricity costs by just boiling the amount of water you need each time. Only downside is that after a month or so in use some marks are showing on the inside of the glass so it may need cleaning more often than all metal kettles to look good, but it is a minor drawback. Otherwise it is great all round.
