Excellent quality Fan with great features
Very pleased with the Igenix oscillating fan, it’s fairly quiet, yet powerful, good build quality and excellent value for money. We have used it every night in our bedroom and the timer allows you to set time periods from 0.5 hour to 7.5 hours in 0.5 hour increments. Not as quiet as I'd thought
Wanted a fan to work from home, and bought this one due to reviews saying it was quiet. Having not used a fan before I can't say it's quieter than others, but it's not my idea of quiet. The sleep mode makes a mechanical noise in between the bursts of action and I certainly couldn't sleep with it in the room. I have put some music on but even on low it's louder than how loud I would turn up the music for work. Also not sure what the difference is between natural and sleep mode yet, they seem to do the same thing, which is to alternate between blowing air and making a mechanical noise. But the air that it blows is indeed cooling. And I guess it will be fine if only using once in a while when temp is to high to work. Though like I said, I have nothing to compare with. No fan cooling device is ever silent,especially when on high setting. However, Igenix fan is fairly unobtrusive, especially on low setting, allowing restful sleep without interruption. Assembly straightforward but would offer one suggestion to the manufacturers - make the power lead longer and also detachable - to give greater positioning flexibility. A great tower fan with excellent features.
This is a really great value tower fan. Not only is it remote controlled with three speeds plus oscillator action but it has a timer and two additional modes - one to to imitate a breeze and the second a sleep mode where the action of the fan changes over time. Quieter than my other fans
I did check dB before purchase and it is one of the better ones for an affordable price. As said a lot quieter than other fans I have which are desk & standing, so greater for bedroom (with ear plugs). Great remote control for ease of use. Light weight to carry up and downstairs. My granddaughters like the one I had so I bought them one. The whole family fights over it, especially with the warm spell we've just had!
