Good Value
This little board replaces the (probably faulty) control board in a Henry or Hetty vacume cleaner. Four connections make it easy to change out and comes with a instructional leaflet making things very clear.. Another thing I noticed is that the surface mount components are mounted on the outside which is good as will not be exposed to fluff which could come into the motor chamber. Easy installation, worked at least as well as the old one did (before it broke)
The product was well packaged, easily unwrapped and the instructions for installation were clear. It was not exactly the same as the one being replaced but installing the part was easy following the instructions - It is only 4 wires that need connecting. Of course, it does not instruct you on how to reach the part so you do need to remember how you took Henry (or whichever one you have) apart in order to put him back together again. Also note how the old part is mounted as you remove it. Considering it was my first time, 20 mins seemed a fairly short job to install the replacement. I expect I will do it in less than 10 mins next time. Full HiLo function worked as expected.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

PCB rectified speed control problem.

Easy fix for broken Hetty vacuum cleaner.
It seems to be a manufacturer original part. Soldering quality looks good and the connector spades appear to be good quality. This was going into a farly old 'Hetty' machine - bright pink with 'happy eyes'. The PCB layout on the old board was a bit different, but the wire colours matched the wiring guide supplied with the PCB. Installation was a breeze - re-assembly of the machine was a bit tricky but I used a short piece of sellotape to keep the felt support collar together while sliding the motor back into its housing. It's alright for me.
First time, after I bought it, I didn't connect it properly, so it blew. I bought another one - but this time I checked a diagram, so it works. It works but (I don't think) fully well because it supposed to change from high speed to lower.
