Close, but no cigar
This is very similar to another sink stopper that has a bevelled grip under the top, instead of an uncomfortable edge. The difference may seem subtle to most people, but the lack of comfort and grip is very noticeable when you try to pull the stopper up from under the weight of a sink full of water. (See the 1st picture for this stopper. See the 2nd picture for the better stopper.)
