CAD-engineered and hardened from extremely lightweight 6061 T6 aluminum with 65 Rockwell. Through an elaborate system of holes in the valve the oil flow in the fork is changed so that the contact with the road and the feedback is much more direct. Active principle: The YSS fork valve is inserted between the fork leg and the fork spring. Therefore it is important to know the inside diameter of the dip tube and the hole in the stem in advance. Depending on fork valve diameters used additional oil flow holes must be drilled in the piston. This is described in detail in the installation ins.
