Take care you don't drop the glass. Do the fitting on the floor with a carpet. Make sure the spring is the right way round.
It is the same as the original so it will fit. The price is very good. I purchased this to replace mine that broke and I couldn't open the door. The WM is 3/4 years old. As an engineer I can see a design weakness. The finger lever is rather weak. I have reinforced the broken one that should now last forever. Great quality parts
Ordered a new door lock handle for the Beko washing machine. Moulded ‘plastic’ handle but an accurate moulding because it slipped into place on my washer without any problem. Manual operation was easy to check with the door open of course. The real test is if it will hold the metal pin into the interlock. Well of course it did, less than £5 for a washing machine repair. How to fit
Assuming you have already managed to open your machine (plenty of youtube videos showing you the technique) ## NOTE HOW THE SPRING, CATCH AND HANDLE ARE ARRANGED AND WHERE THEY FIT BEFORE REPLACING THE HANDLE## ##DO NOT SCREW THE TWO HALVES OF THE DOOR BACK UP UNTIL IT HAS BEEN PUT BACK ON ITS HINGES## just remove the screws on the inside of the washer door and with the help of an assistant to hold the door, remove the whole assembly by splitting the inner and outer halves of the door starting at the hinge end but keeping the assembly held together as you create a gap large enough for the door to be withdrawn. Lay the whole door on the floor. Note the glass rim has a flat edge that fits exactly into a corresponding flat area on the plastic lip. Noting the hashed warnings above, replace the handle but remember that the handle of the new part sits outside the glass while the catch protrudes out of the frame on the other side of the glass. While an assistant holds the door in place, re fasten all the screws, job done!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This replacement handle has a more robust design than the broken original handle. The area where the old handle broke has been "beefed up" and is less likely to break in the same way. Perfect replacement for Beko WME8227W washing machine.
Do watch some YouTube videos on how to replace if you haven't done this before. On our WME8227W I didn't need to remove the door drum seal. Just remove the door from Machine (2 screws). Separate the 2 halves of the door. Do take photos of the The bits and pieces as you take it apart. This'll help when putting it back together.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
