I’m still experimenting and in my third loaf now. It is really important to weigh the measurements out correctly and it makes such a difference. The last loaf was perfect! My only dissatisfaction comes from the display panel. The touch screen buttons seem to consistently work on a hit or miss system. Firstly, you have to set the programme, the quality of crust etc, and on the machine I have, this requires several attempts of pressing the display buttons. After painfully getting through it all, the simple ‘start’ button does the same. I’ve tried every single way of putting finger to screen but it seems to make no difference. It’s never an immediate response. Once started, everything is just fine however!! I would ring customer services, but because of CV 19 staff are down in numbers. I’d love to know if anyone else has/had this issue!Read full review

Baking results very hit and miss. Follow instructions accurately but still not very satisfied. Bread tends to collapse after rising. Instructions very mediocre and measuring beaker worse than useless. One cannot read the measures on the side of the beaker which must have cost all of 5p to produce. Wish I'd paid more and got a better product. I'd send it back but after 3 months of ownership I can't be bothered. It will be a torture no doubt. AVOID

Pleased with this purchase. Makes a good loaf, but the controls are very small and fiddly to use, not easy to read without 20/20 vision, especially when they are blue on a black background. Pleased that the bread turned out of the pan very easily, leaving a clean pan and the paddle was easy to remove from the loaf. Not very impressed with the yoghurt programme, made a rather runny prouct. I would however recomend this breadmaker.

Although an instructions manual was supplied, this was for a different model, but the majority of the guidelines I already knew from my old breadmaker. The main board has blue light behind the pad, however the main starter button is unlit & not really disguinsable, it took just a few moments, just pressing anywhere just to make sure it was working. Overall as it was a upgraded version of my last breadmaker I knew what alterations I could make & adapt to get a decent loaf from it. The photos taken are from a Wrights wholegrain mix, in which I added a handful of dried mix fruit, pumpkin and poppy seeds & an extra teaspoon of dried yeast, using olive oil & not butter. Tasted gorgeous, lasting about 3-4 days wrapped in a re-used bread bag to keep it soft. I have also made sponge cake from it, again replacing marg/butter with olive oil & orange juice instead of water, giving the cake a better taste & healthier too.Read full review

I love this machine. The fact that you can programme it to wake up to the smell of freshly made bread. It’s great that there are two size categories too, as there is just me and the husband, the smaller size does us just fine. I’m looking forward to being more adventurous with adding different ingredients.

Really well priced. Compact design with easy to read LCD display. Need to be aware that paddle should be in upright position when putting in ingredients. Good selection of recipes and plenty of programmes to cover all types of bread making, plus yogurt and jam making.

I did some research before deciding which bread maker to buy, and this Morphy Richards was always near the top of the "best" review tables. You could pay more for a fancy Panasonic, but I thought I'd give this one a go. I have baked 4 different loaves now, and they have all come out very well, just add the ingredients as instructed, switch on and come back in 3 or 4 hours! Bread takes what bread will, so I have not tried the quick settings. Some have noted the hinge is a little flimsy, it is perfectly adequate, but I use two hands to lift or close, so as not to put strain on it. It is nice having a window, (use a torch, don't open!) it is quiet enough considering what it is doing, needing dough, and most of the time is resting or baking anyway. In conclusion, I highly recommend this bread maker, not the cheapest, but good value, as the end product is on a par with my partners double priced bread maker.Read full review

This replaces a Morphy Richards Bread Maker that died. It is an updated model that weighs less, has a touch screen, and a very well lit screen clearly showing the chosen settings. I cannot imagine we shall use all 14 settings! For a reason we cannot work out the paddle folds down so it is necessary to ensure it is upright before putting in the ingredients. It is essential to read the handbook before making the first loaf to identify what each button does, and especially to know how to make it start. We borrowed a different make and more expensive Bread Maker before this one arrived. It made good loaves but no better than this one whose first loaves have been very good. We have no hesitation in recommending this Morphy Richards Bread Maker.

The product works well (although it doesn't always mix all the flour in so worth giving it a little mix before switching on. We have noticed this about other bread makers so not surprised. It makes a lovely loaf of bread and the Gluten Free option works well.

I was challenged by the folding paddle but have now become used to it. The bread is a bit solid. I have modified the recipe and it is better BUT the loaf is not as good as the one produced by the Panasonic one it replaced.
