  • Great floor pump

I haven't ridden a bike for years, so I was unsure what to get for pumping tyres up back at base, but went for this. I was pleasantly surprised - floor pumps are much much easier than the old hand pumps. I was also pleased that this Vandorm model is very lightweight without feeling flimsy, and I certainly didn't have the problems reported elsewhere with this arrangement of guage and lever, once I realised how to do it. Here's an simple guide on how to use it on your bicycle: 1. Look at the side of the tyre and it should tell you a maximum pressure to pump it to (psi or bar). 2. Examine the valve on the tyre to see if it is Shrader or Presta. Both should have a cap that you take off first - not a disaster if they don't. Shrader are fatter with just a screw thread. Presta are slimmer and have a nut that you need to loosen first - it shouldn't come off, but it will be in the "up" position, away from the tyre. 3. Slip the corresponding hole on the guage head over the valve - just slip it on with the lever down alongside the guage - you don't need to move the lever first (this was my initial mistake), and no need to screw anything on. You might lose a little air, but don't panic you can make that up when you pump, just push it firmly over the valve. 4. Now flip the lever up once the guage head is firmly pushed onto the valve. 5. Pump your tyres up to a bit less than the maximum pressure. For mountain bikes, you still want a bit of give; road bikes should be pretty rock solid. It is a good idea to check by pressing your thumb into the side of the tyre and using your judgement. Just don't exceed the maximum! If you need you can always let air out. 6. Flip the lever back down and firmly ease the guage head off the valve. You might hear a hiss of air, but don't panic! If all is well this is just a bit of left-over air escaping from the pump. If you get stuck, there are videos on youtube that go into more detail about valve types etc. Enjoy!

  • What a pump

I used a similar type before but bit cheaper this blows it away quality wise its very light to carry fits really well around your valves both presta and Schrader comfortable to use can't recommend this track pump enough brilliant product you won't be disappointed with it at all a must buy for any cyclists 😁

  • pleased

pleasantly surprised, useful to have the gauge within eye view and small enough to fix to the bike if like me you hate using the standard bike pump that pumps a thimble full of air with each stroke

  • Good small track pump

Great little track pump the only downside if being picky is the position of the gauge being tight next to the valve, but still good functioning and seems to be quite well built

  • Excellent pump

Pumps my bike's tires quickly. Gauge allows you to know exactly when to stop pumping. Have tried some other, slightly cheaper pumps for my presta valves - they were completely rubbish or way too slow. This one is perfect - however due to size rather used as a home pump.

These are great pumps, had one before, lasted years and years; eventually the flap that stops air coming back had failed and couldn't be accessed for repair.

  • Very easy to use and quickly inflated my bicycle tyres. The guage enabled me to apply the correct pressure as given on the walls of my tyres.
