This is a classic cd made during the transition years into modern music production. Pioneering:)

I bought this album back in my student days, when I was also going clubbing a fair bit, and this conjures up many happy memories of a good era. Listing to the album again recently, it may be sounding a little dated, but is still full of quality tracks and the album flows well, particularly the first half. The earlier songs on the album, Sweet Harmony and Liquid is Liquid (though remixed) stand out from the rest of the album, being slightly more harder in feel. Other stand-out tracks include Niagra and Hope Against Hope, together with the subsequent single, Closer. It is worth tracking down the Sweet Harmony '95 singe preceeding the album's release, containing a remix of Sweet Harmony, as this is not the version included on the album, which wisely chooses the original, plus a superb remix of the same track by Way Out West. So, sightly progressive-house, not quite ambient, but with a dancefloor element, comparible to the stuff BT was doing at the time (IMA album-era), Robert Miles, etc. I waited eagerly for a follow-up, expecting great things to come, but save for a few singles of varying quality (Strong, Orlando Dawn), things have been quiet, so I guess Liquid's time may have passed.Read full review
Quite a good album with 2 fabulous tunes which are Liquid Is Liquid & Sweet Harmony. All the rest of the tunes are of 3 star quality and the album is a recommended addition to the collection of any old school raver such as myself. Top one, nice one, get sorted!
