Good strong lock and easy to fit.
Great lock, with long throw shaft, and it's a solid shaft,, ,you can use it left or right side of your door or gate, i personally bought this for my new shed, the tongue and groove is 20mm thick, so what I did was add a 50mm piece of wood on the inside so that the overall thickness of the door was 70mm, you need to secure the 50mm piece of timber, and then cut a nogging in to the frame allowing the bar to slide across to lock, really good strong lock, I really like it .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Chinese Door lock endorsement
I have read other adverts indicating products made in Spain are better than the Chinese identical version. I am an engineer by trade and I have inspected thoroughly this Chinese Gate/Side door lock and find it to be top quality and 'second to none' for design, material and written fixing instruction. I fail to see how a Spanish product of equal manufacture and component quality would better this one. So much better than the cheap locks supplied with new sheds, worth spending a bit of time strengthening the mounting points up! Comes with 5 keys and you will need a 26mm hole cutter.
