Great motorized version of an amazing tool.

With some practice, you will really like the time saving reality of the Skinzit!
It takes a little practice, but once you get used to it, you'll be glad you have it. It makes short work out of skinning and de-ribbing the fillets. If you are a person who doesn't like bones in their food make sure that you cut out the pin bones as the Skinzit will not remove them. The only other draw back is that you have to disassemble the roller blade from the unit and wash it off and take time wiping the unit down as it can not be submerged. If you have lots of fish to clean and people to help clean them it makes sense to have one. Forming a small assembly line in the cleaning process is always advantageous and having the right equipment is a must!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Could be a little more specific
A little more direction on proper use and do’s/don’ts, common mistakes, etc. would be helpful. Wasted a lot of filets getting the hang of it and is still not like the video. Getting better at it though, just hate to waste.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Rugged and well made
