Awesome duck sauce!
Absolutely LOVE this reciprocating saw! The light is nice to see what you are doing at night. I have a 4.0 battery and it lasts a decent amount of time. Not a huge amount of time, but I already had it so wasn't going to go buy a 9.0 or 12.0 battery. Those would last a lot longer, but there is added weight to those. Quick change for the blades is a nice feature. I don't use the adjusting shoe at all, but I'm sure it will be nice to have at some point.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A beast of a saw!
This saw is heavy duty! It also is a little heavy but that weight is probably needed to get the power that this saw has. I have only used it one time, to cut a steel 3/4 inch bar in half. Wow! You really have to hold this baby down! It will jump out of your hand if you give it too much speed with the variable speed trigger. It ought to really handle wood with no problem. I like the fact that it takes the same M18 batteries that my milwaukee drill/driver has. The keyless chuck is really nice too and the fact you can put the blades in facing up or down. On my old dewalt corded reciprocating saw you had to use an allen wrench to put in the blades. What a hassle, especially after the screw started to wear down and the wrench would slip. Strongest Battery-Operated Sawzall Ever
Like all the Milwaukee tools, this 2720 Battery-Powered Sawzall is the Gold Standard. This model is the one to purchase as the other models either offer less power or contain brushes. This is the brushless model and it is by far the most powerful sawzall I have ever seen and this includes the normal electric models which I have used for at least 25 years on an almost daily basis. I cut down a huge ash tree in my back and there was a large segment about a foot wide where it was about 6 inches higher than the rest-this sawzall sliced through it like butter, so it will definitely be able to handle any construction application (within reason & practical uses). The battery last for over an hour and even after sitting for a few days delivered the same power enabling be to prune the stump and it is still going. The battery has a gauge on the side that lets you know exactly how low it is getting and the charger is relatively fast 4-6 hours. I would recommend this sawzall to anyone who needs a serious tool for construction, remodel, or home repair. I will never own another electric powered sawzall in my life as the convenience and power of this model makes them obsolete. Powerfull and easy to handle.

This saw is awesome ! It is a little heavy when using the 9.0 battery , but the power and performance are unmatched . I switched to a 5.0 battery after the first use and found it had plenty of power and run time for the job I was doing .
