What can I say, these are the best....
Accept no substitutes. These cute little things are made in Denmark as they have always been, and their level of quality has remained unchanged over the generations, each one filled with a minute amount of the indicated liqueur to impart the exact right note-picante. Old chocolates
The best before date list 7/17/16 but the chocolate had already turned white. It was mushy and crystalized in some places where the liquor leaked through. Not tasty at all. Even with these being filled with alcohol it's been hard giving them away as nobody has more than one. Price was low but I would've gladly paid more for better quality. I've had these before during the holidays and they were excellent so I know this is not normally the case. Maybe these were not stored properly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Got A Buzz!
The only thing that would make these absolutely perfect is if the chocolate was a little more chocolaty, less waxy. They didn't taste waxy, but the chocolate was hard and not creamy in the mouth. The chocolate taste was good tho. I think they have wax to hold their shape and the booze. Now, the booze inside was real good! I felt a definite buzz after only one and my husband had five, they were for him, and he was totally buzzed he could stop giggling. I would rate these a 4.75, but they don't have that rating. We had a lot of fun with them, and none were broke, very well packaged. Good variety of all the favorite liqueurs, something for everyone in there.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Larger pieces with greater variety
I used to buy a similar product from Sam's Club every year just before Christmas but since they didn't carry them before Christmas 2018, I went searching online and found these. They are slightly larger than those at Sam's, the chocolate wall is thicker and they hold more liqueur. This set also contained 8 varieties instead of the usual 4 varieties I used to buy so I was actually happier with this set than my usual yearly purchase, however, the price per piece costs more. they have a quality and inventory control issue in storing their product
It was almost at the end of the date code..which looked to be 1 year..and it was a few days from that, In addition (I used to be associated with a chocolate company), it appeared that the product was not stored at a low enough temperature, i.e. some of the liqueur had solidified and that chocolate had white spots (which meant that the cocoa butter/fats were coming out--neither is dangerous, but not very appetizing)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Half Melted
This product arrived without any marking on the box that the contents are perishable. It was left sitting in the sun for hours before we returned home. The chocolate is of average to poor quality.
