    Good Power Line Adapters

The Power Line adapters we’re a good price and arrived Quickly . They included set up instructions which were extremely simple to follow, and work well . (These were purchased to replace a faulty one which had been in use for years) A very happy customer

    Powerline Adapters

I purchased these hoping to extend the wi-fi signal in my home; my router being at the front and living area at the rear. I initially had difficulty getting them to pair but eventually sorted this after some googling although the seller did his best to advise. Once paired I connected one by ethernet to the router and the other by ethernet to my Humax Freesat box. This has improved the internet connection to my TV - we have Talk-Talk but not the wi-fi signal throughout the home for mobiles, laptop etc. I think this was down to me not understanding totally that these are not wi-fi extenders and are not intended or sold as such - my fault entirely. So one problem solved but still looking for a solution for the other. Would I recommend? Yes. As long as you understand what you are buying!

  • It solved my problems

I bought four of these units to assist/replace my wifi around the house. Although I get 150+ Mbs from my modem, its built in router only pushes out about 50 Mbs and the signal is affected by interference at itimes which often results in buffering of movies and football matches. These units have not increased the signal to the remote devices but have smoothed it out and prevented the interference and buffering. Easy to set up [though the instructions are poor] once done you can forget them. [I would suggest that you 'pair them side by side in a double socket, you can then them to anywhere on your ring main to provide internet connectivity.. At less than £10/piece these are well worth the price.

  • New D Link Power Line Adapters DHP-300AV Pair

Absolutely brilliant. As my router is a distance from my Talk Talk box I could not connect my TV to the internet. Order these , connected to router and TV, switched on, Hi Presto connected. Could not have been easier. Far cheaper than TalkTalk prices and really did the job. Highly Recommended. Nor206 commended.

  • works well but slows the network down

I was easy to add to my existing talk talk powerline adapters, but I soon discovered that it slowed the whole network down to half the speed I had, (originally i had 2 talk talk powerlines and 2 bt powerlines , one set for the tv one set for the net, so decided to make them all the same, the talk talk ones as above slowed it down, I then bought a bt powerline, which now works well and the net speed is back to its normal speed.

  • Powerline adapters

I ordered the power line adapters from talktalk as I already have two in my system (one for the router and one for my pc). I needed another to connect the new tv in a different room. However, the new adapter didn't work and after much fiddling about I realised there was nothing wrong with my system but the new adapter was not compatible with the older ones. When I used the old adapter from the pc the problem was resolved. So I now have two new adapters I cannot use and a pc I can't connect but I wasn't using it anyway. I wonder if the design of your adapters has been tweaked in the last couple of years. I would appreciate your comments on this. Regards Prue

  • Talk Talk Supplied Power Line Adapters

Talk Talk have supplied two types of Power Line Adapters one manufactured by D-Link and one type manufactured by Huawei. Unfortunately you cannot mix and match the two different manufactures. If you already have Talk Talk supplied Power Line Adapters and you want to add more to expand your network connectivity make sure they are of the same manufacture or they will not integrate. A plus point to this non integration is you can have two independent and secure networks at one location by using the two different types.

  • Performs

Adaptors come already partnered. Good if that is all that you want. If you want to add to existing adaptors to extend reach into other rooms requires a bit more work. Takes a few minutes to figure out how to partner with existing Powerline adaptors (basically unpartner everything and start from scratch but with extra steps for each additional adaptor). Talk Talk website gives reasonable instructions on how to do it.

  • D Link Powerline Adapters

I replaced 2 of my Powerline adapters as there was a fault on one of them, replacing both as they were paired. They work fine and at a reasonable price. Impressed!.

  • Good product

It is very easy to program and I have not once had to go back and link them back up even though I have had them unplugged for a while. Excellent product.
