One For The Completists
I find it difficult to review this album, because on one hand, I got a brand new sealed copy for a very low price and it is John Lee Hooker after all. However, this is one album that having been played once, it will now be filed away into the collection, never to be heard again. The recordings are old, so as far as interest goes, if you are a completist you may well want this album for your collection; hence, I have recommended it. But, there are far better JLH albums out there. The reason I bought it was that I wasn't familiar with any of the tracks, but I actually found this album to be quite disappointing. Definitely one for the connoisseurs.
