You get what you pay for
If you just want to machine a few spacers and bits and bobs from aluminium or brass its ok. But this lathe should be considered more as a kit of parts that require a lot of time fettling and and a fair amount of additional cash to be able to get it to operate as an engineering lathe capable of machining parts to the tolerances and finishes required for most applications.
