RATE AND REVIEW Kingfisher 25 inch Ball Thrower and Launcher Dog Toy
Great quality and works prefect, I have tried lots of different brands of these tennis ball launchers, I have even had the one that is branded as the so called "best of them all" which I wont say the brand name of, but they were all rubbish. For the money, this one is great, I can launch a tennis ball very far with it, I haven't measured the distance but I guess about 75 to 100 meters which is far enough, so if anyone can't then they must not have the correct nack or touch and need to practice more to throw the ball properly. As for people saying their dog chewed the launcher stick, well that's silly letting your dog chew it in the first place, it's for launching tennis balls, not for the dog to chew, simple as that. As for the ball that comes with it, my dog is a heavy duty chewer, he chewed it in a couple of minutes and ruined it, BUT, I didn't buy the launcher for the ball, I bought it to get the launcher, that's all, I have high grade quality REAL tennis balls, loads of them and my dog can't chew through those, so I suggest buying a load of them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tennis Ball thrower ...
To make this work properly I had to heat the shaft over a kettle to straighten it a bit . To make it fit a tennis ball I had to grind off some retaining bumps on the holding cup . The slightly smaller than a tennis ball , I would not allow my dog to touch , it is cheap and smells toxic ,,,, It works great with tennis balls if the thrower is modified slightly ..Once modified ,,,,, it,s the best one I,ve had so far ,,, I would buy another .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best ball thrower.
The length of this version of the dog ball thrower gives excellent leverage for a really good long throw for energetic dogs. They're very robust. Occasionally the ball cup is a bit tto loose or tight, but this is easily remidied by gently heating it with either hot water or a hair drier & squeezed tighter or looser as it cools.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Waste of Money
3 Reasons not to buy - 1) It doesn't pick up the ball it comes with, you have to pick it up by hand and place it in the thrower. 2) The thrower head is too small to pick up tennis balls 3) The ball it comes with doesn't bounce, it's dead weight. Keep the launcher but bin the ball
The launcher is very good. The tennis ball is not. The ball just feels wrong, wouldnt bounce and was heavy. Our dog destroyed the ball in two minutes and inside it was hard rubber and rubbish.
