Great M.2 Nvme at lower price for a quality product as brand is being established.

This is an excellent alternative to other brands with higher awareness. Packaging is a nice quality tin with foam so these are unlikely to be damaged during transit. The speeds are not Samsung Evo but so close and way ahead of other WD, Seagate, Crucial etc at the same price point. This is MLC with some SLC cache to get the performance of both read and write. The Sabrent Rocket Q is QLC so is likely to be slower on the read (I cannot confirm this as I have not reviewed the rocket Q). This is a good Nvme drive and is faster than most. The 5 Year warranty is untested so I cannot comment other than most competitors come with 3 years (make of that what you will). I think they are trying to establish a quality brand in SSD so you are getting a premium product at lower than normal price. A good buy. Well worth considering against other more established brands.

  • Most critical review

    Barely 1month!

Had this from brand new for barely 1month before it broke down. Came home to boot the PC and the disk was gone. Not recognized by windows or even in BIOS. Tried to plug it with a USB enclosure, but it won't initialize and can't format or anything. Disappointed

  • Incredible drive 5GB/s

Incredible ssd drive 5GB/s read and write on Crystalmark and cheaper than equivalents such as Samsung and Corsair. Make sure your motherboard and CPU support Gen. 4 speeds, if not you’ll still get a solid 3.5GB/s.

  • Great, genuine product

Super fast, future proof SSD, perfect for boot drive or large media file storage. Wasted as a gaming drive, buy a cheaper pcie 3.0.

  • Sabrent Rocket 1TB (PCI-E 3 version)

Fast nvme drive comes in a nice tin case. Typically £110-£120, an absolute bargain at £80!

  • Really good mid spec PCIE 4.0 ssd

Really impressed with the drive, I also have the WD SN750 and is a fair amount quicker than that. Average read is 4070 MBps and write about 3900 MBps on black magic disk speed.

  • Works brilliantly what else can I say

Even on a Gen 3 motherboard this SSD makes a massive difference in performance on my usual HDD and I was only built 2 years ago so it's not past it's sell by date. This was exactly what was needed to provide some longevity to my gaming rig.

  • Sabrient v Samsung

This is my third M.2. The first was a samsung then 2 Sabrient. Both makes are fantastic although I like the software for the samsung. The main reason for the Sabrient was the slightly lower price
