I could never bring myself to criticize this album, as I am such a big fan of this mans work. If the intention here is to build a Japanese Garden feel to this musical immersion, then it is a big hit. I like the way that this is unpretentious but very imaginative. I would think that this was a labour of love as much as exploration. Having said this, the album is not a total departure as Bill has produced lots of similar work. The difference here though is that this feels so complete. A real must for anyone exploring this type of music. Oh and if you have had trouble relaxing or sleeping recently this could be a good investment.
