Good first impressions!
I wasn't expecting much from this, but needed a cheap tool to run a chase in a wall for some pipework. Cheap tools are always a bit hit and miss but I'm pretty pleased with this so far. It's better made than I thought it would be (on the outside anyway.... I havent done an 'AVE BOLTR' on it! (look him up on youtube)!!) and has plenty of power to break thro hard brick and overall seems pretty good for the price. Haven't used the drill function yet, and only cut a 3m chase with it so I've hardly given it a lot of work but thumbs up so far. As a 'now and then' tool that I didn't want a fortune sat in I can't complain so far.....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Of poor quality and unsafe
Purchased drill to do some DIY on the third day of use the mechanism that holds the bit fell to pieces and the drill bit now shoots out. The supplier is absoluley useless they have offered £11.oo in compensation. I have had to engage a builder to compete the job at a cost of £200. Desperate to finish job I tried taping the bit in place whilst using a chisel in hammer mode the gear box jumped into drill mode the drill spun round and went flying across the room.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wall drilling
I bought this unit at same time as a 800W top Japanese brand and used them on the same very hard double bricks wall. With the core 100mm drill this one had better power to run although half way through everything was bit hot including myself mind core drilling can not use hammer function. With the 12mm X 450mm drill the wall was like butter while the m brand was obviously slower as expected. They both survived the 3hs of wall drilling. Both ok with plugging the drill bit and removing it. The on button was bit hard to keep at max and the rotating key to inhibit hammer function was coming off, not sure is expected but push back and kept going. The tool box came with few bits including gogles and to my surprise a set of spare brushes for the motor. Overall I am ok with both just not sure how long would last with a professional but I do not plan to use so often hope it lasts.

Good value, but not quality
The drill worked well. However it was not easy to get the SDS drill bits into the drill. The instructions it came with were not for the correct product. I used the drill a lot over 3 days and on the 3rd day, the drill bit snapped inside the drill so I can't use it anymore. Didn't even turn up !!
Rather disappointed as I ordered the BREAKER and it didn't arrive. I was e-mailed with a poorly written excuse claiming it had been damaged in transit and now there were none left in stock !!! Most equipment of this nature come in very hard wearing cases, must have been some damage ?
