Too heavy for me
It feels good quality and it is definitely weighted but it was too heavy for me or my younger daughter as it was too heavy? Once someone put it on you it was difficult to lift off on your own and felt TOO restricting. Might suit some but it would be nice if there were 2 weights to choose from. Does exactly what it is suppose to do

Go to bed with Heavyweight warmth and comfort
I remember when I was boy getting into a bed made of smooth clean sheets, maybe a couple of blankets depending on the time of year, and an envelpoping and heavy eiderdown. The feeling of weight on your body and the capturing of the warm you make when your in bed was held so well by this old fashioned but luxurious way of making a bed. And recently I have been looking to assemble this old way as I have felt for some time that the modern day Tog rated quilt was just not doing the job for me. So I started looking to fuel my ambition when I discovered these weighted blankets. There were not many reviews, as they appear to be fairly new on the scene, but the ones I did find were positive. So I decided to try them and after hunting around I found these very good ones on Ebay made by a firm of many years standing in the bedding world. They are heavy and when you first lift the box you wonder if its goiong to be too heavy. But once laid out the weight is spread evenly and once under the cover its slowly folds around you and you soon become embedded in a warm bed and it feels like you have something over you that wont fly away or fall off so easily as a quilt can do on occasion. I have mine on top of my quilt, just as an eiderdown would have been, so the warm fibre is closest to me and it helps to press the warmth home and keep it there. I have also found that it does not move too much and keeps the quilt in place. With winter coming and cooler nights ahead I think this will prove to be one of the best purchases I have made this year. Not only that but it has saved me purchasing several sheets and blankets that would have easily come into three figures in pounds. At the price I obtained mine from Ebay it is worth giving it a try and get some of that old feeling of security in bed back or feel it for the first time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fantastic you will never look back
