These SM Active Studio Monitors are professional quality studio monitors and also suitable for multimedia use. These speakers are designed to produce a flat frequency response for (home) studio recording mixing and mastering duties. Volume bass and treble controls are located on the back panel for adjustments based on your personal preferences. The SM-series features analog amplifiers that are built into the left speaker while the right speaker is passive so setup is simple. Just plug the left speaker into AC power and connect the included speaker wire from left to right.

Size Doesn't Always Matter
Size Doesn't Always Matter. These are not BW 810s that's for sure. But as near field monitors for those on a budget they're hard to beat. No garish colourscheme - just functional black and yellow. Solid feel & well built. Reccommended for those who don't need 'TV bells & whistles' on their sound system. The sort of people using Reaper as their DAW - not the overpriced (& overhyped!) likes of Ableton & protools. People like me who learned their craft on VYNIL not jumped straight to DIGITAL SOUND.. Nice inexpensive little monitors for the price. 10/10 & five stars.
