Terrible Device
I had reinstalled my Ubuntu distro twice believing I had messed up on the Bluetooth installs. I then gave up believing I had broken something. I then revisited using this Bluetooth adapter with my Windows PC. Just like Ubuntu, it would see the devices but not connect to them. I tested another Windows laptop and same verdict. Bluetooth drivers were installed and updated, but no luck. Clearly a faulty device. I’m going with a wireless network card next time.

v cheap but does the job well enough
It works well enough but in all fairness its only a couple of quid. It just came by itself in post package and no original packaging. BT devices do have to be near by and if the USB is covered the connection won't be as strong and tends to disconnect

For the older tech :)
Decent if you want to use smart speakers and connect to recent bluetooth enabled peripherals. Works on most Windows OS's from Win98SE up to latest. I would not suggest using V5.0 with older tech as I have found problems so the V4.0 is ideal for those with retro tech and recent tech. This has a very decent range and rarely does it crackle unless too far away. Quality is high in my opinion.

Selling bits of plastic for less than 3 quid
It seems they are selling bits of plastic that dont do anything, they told me to download some files to get it work... despite the fact it is windows 10 !! cost me £49.99 to get my PC sorted after installing the files grrrrr.. avoid them .. not even worth a star really

Very good value for money.
Bought this to connect my BT head phones to a Windows 7 PC and they work once I put tt directly on the PC and not a hub - don't know why. Value for money and this is not a criticism but don't expect a Mini CD Rom or packet as shown on the pictures. But for the price it is great.
