Great for scarifying and aerating
Great for breaking up crusty patches on a lawn, letting in badly needed air and water. Loosened thatch well but the collection box is too small and did not collect the thatch/moss completely, meaning i had to rake up the remainder. The instruction manaul is not clear enough on the assembly of the grass box and this can be best worked out by looking at pictures of this box on line.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good in parts.
Th rake Dows the job but the scarifyer wasn't as good as I hoped. I asked for help to put the collector together but I an still waiting for a call back. The instructions aren't that clear. I used an online picture, which was much better and easier to understand. When using the machine, the collecting box only partly fills up, leaving piles of grass on the lawn, I picked up by hand. I again asked for any assistance but, again, I still have not had a response from company's technical team. Sturdy and competent lawn aerator and rake
The machine would get 5 stars if the instructions were clearer, they just needed to expand the fact that each of the handle sections are secured with a flip latch to enable the handle to be easily folded, each one is identical with the bolt going from the inside with a plastic spacer to the outside followed by the flip latch. Also the instruction around the collection bag could be more clear, once you note that the semi-circular metal part is the top handle and the writing has to be the right way up you are well on the way to assembling it. Once together it is a very sturdy machine and quite wide. The height adjustment is easy to use and the mechanism to swap the rake and aerator rollers is quite easy to use (the wing nut underneath clamps in a bearing on the replacement roller). In use even on the highest 12mm setting with the rake it is going to pull you along and pull out heaps of moss and weeds (obviously this will depend on your lawn), I misread the height control at first, so make sure you are moving in the direction of the height you want. Do check the width of the roller before you start to ensure you cover the whole lawn while raking and be sure how close you can get to the edges. I found the cable a bit short for my lawn, so it was a case of bringing out an extension to the centre. Unfortunately the collection bag is not great, once you have it together you may find that the entry is clogged up by the first metre of travel and decide as I did to take it off and rake up with a hand rake (and finish up with a lawnmower). That said it really has taken a lot of moss out and I think that once the lawn recovers it will be good. Not brave enough to try the aerator yet, that will be in the autumn. For the price point this appears great value and I shall be considering more Hyundai products in the future.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the job
Fairly easy to assemble, although the instructions could be clearer and give a bit more detail. There is no diagram as to how to assemble the collection bag, so this proved to be a challenge. Have used it once on a recently re-turfed lawn that had got a thatch caused by much mowing. Using the raking attachment it was amazing how much dead thatch was removed. I think this will be a very useful tool to maintain my lawn. The only criticism I have is the use of the "quick lamps". In principle a good idea, but in practice not so good: there is a fine balance between screwing them on so far that they will not clamp, and so little that they ping off when when trying to clamp. I may do away with these and replace them with nuts. I haven't tried the scarifying attachment yet.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not really much to say other than it is made of good quality plastic; the handle can be folded down; it is quite light and easy to manoeuvre; and it works and does the job I bought it for. Downsides? A bit of a beast! (Which is good).

Brilliant powerful little tool.
Great little machine, only downside is the collection box. It doesn’t fill efficiently whey in rake mode and one has to keep stopping to clear the opening. I took it off and used the lawnmower to pick up the debris left by the rake. Haven’t tried the scarifier yet but it certainly is powerful.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
