An Indescribable Experience
I loved this documentary. It was the most inspiring and heart warming story I've seen in such a long time. You will cry, laugh, get angry then want to stand up and cheer as you walk the path this man has taken to deal with the struggles he faces in battling this terrible disease. We've all known him and loved him and sang along with some of the most memorable songs ever written. What amazed me most of all was that while he may not remember his daughter's name, the melodies and songs just pour out of his memory as though he has not lost it at all. His family is more than generous in sharing Glen Campbell just as he is. Sometimes lucid and sometimes struggling with his whereabouts...It's just something that has to be viewed and taken in on an individual basis. Gripping
I did not know much about Glen Campbell, but when he passed away I read so many interesting stories that I felt compelled to buy this documentary. As sad as it is this me a fan. What a fantastic, courageous man and outstanding musician. Even in the grip of debilitating disease his enormous talent shone through. I'm not one to cry easily, but this movie got to me.
